Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a whole body treatment which literally translated means ‘Finger Pressure’. It involves comfortable pressure from the thumbs and palms applied to the body’s energy channels and Acupressure points. This is a hands-on therapy where the client is fully clothed. It includes gentle stretches and rotations of the limbs and joints. In other words ‘Acupuncture without the needles’ and is very helpful for headaches, neck and shoulders, tension and digestive problems.

Shiatsu College

The Shiatsu College, Dublin was established to offer professional shiatsu training in Ireland and offers a high standard of excellence. Our fully accredited teaching staff have extensive qualifications and clinical experience in western and oriental medicine. We are continually updating and adding to our course options to suit students’ needs.

Safety Precautions at The Healthy Hub

Covid 19 has such impact on the college, our students, teachers and our ability to run classes so this will make a massive difference to everyone's safety.

Our air purifier works with UV-C and Ozone technology. "Ozone is proven to kill SARS coronavirus so it is relatively safe to say that it will also work on the new coronavirus" alongside other viruses, bacteria, mould and odours.

The technology has won EU’s environmental Award for Cleaner Technology, it's chemical-free and keeps our college and clinic rooms clean and safe 24x7.

We still have all other hygiene and safety protocols in place of course but this gives us some extra peace of mind and we hope you do too.
